The short version

Virtual Gamepad the app doesn't collect or transmit your input data anywhere except directly to your own PC over your local network. This website collects only minimal, standard analytics needed to understand traffic — detailed below.

What the app does

The Virtual Gamepad Android client and desktop companion communicate directly with each other over your local Wi-Fi network. There is no cloud relay or third-party server in that path, and no account or sign-in is required to use the app. We don't collect analytics, crash reports, or telemetry from the app itself.

What this website collects

If NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID is configured, this site may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, approximate location by country, device type). This is standard web analytics and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using your browser's Do Not Track setting or an ad-blocking extension, both of which we respect.

Contact form and sponsorship data

If you use the Contact form, the name, email, and message you submit are sent directly to our team's email inbox via SMTP — they are not stored in a database on this site. If you make a donation through the Sponsor page, payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or payment information ourselves.

Third-party services

This site links out to GitHub (for the repository, issues, and releases) and uses Razorpay for payment processing. Each of those services has its own privacy policy governing data you share with them directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
